A conference was held at the South Gas Company on May 31, 2022 in the presence of Empire Fuel Industries Limited and the South Gas Company.
Final negotiations and discussions took place on the economic and marketing feasibility study to reach an agreement to establish a natural petroleum gas processing plant associated with “PRODUCT GTL” based on PJSC “GTL” technology with a capacity of 100,000 tons / year, where the South Gas Company made all preparations to participate in this project. In turn, it will provide hard currency for the Iraqi Ministry of Oil and end the environmental pollution resulting from burning associated gas in Basra Governorate.
