A conference was held at Basra Gas Company on April 27, 2022 in the presence of Empire Fuel Industries Ltd., GTL Company, Basra Gas Company.
Negotiations and semi-final discussions took place for the economic, technical and marketing feasibility study to reach an agreement to establish a Plant for Processing Natural and Associated Petroleum Gas Into «PRODUCT GTL» Based on PJSC «GTL» Technology with a capacity of 100,000 tons / year, which in turn will provide hard currency for the Iraqi Ministry of Oil and end the environmental pollution resulting from burning associated gas in Basra Governorate.
