A conference was held at Missan Oil Company (MOC) located in the Maysan Governorate, Iraq on 26th August 2023 in the presence of Empire Fuel Industries Energy Limited, Production and Discharge Authority, Gas Department, Storage and Discharge Department, Halfaya Company Authority, Missan Oil Fields Operation Authority and the Commercial Department of Missan Oil Company. Negotiations took place in order to get rid of the environmental pollution resulting from the combustion of associated gas in the Iraqi provinces.
Chief Executive Officer of Empire Fuel Industries Limited, Engr. Hamza A. Alrubay, proposed optimal solutions by exploiting the burning gas and converting it into gas products, which in turn will provide hard currency for the Iraqi Ministry of Oil and end environmental pollution.
