A conference was held at the Iraqi Ministry of Oil in the Rumaila Hall in the building of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil on 15th June 2021 in the presence of Empire Fuel Industries Limited, South Refineries Company, South Oil Company, South Gas Company, Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up, and Technical Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil.
Negotiations took place in order to get rid of the environmental pollution resulting from the combustion of associated gas in the Iraqi provinces.
Chief Executive Officer of Empire Fuel Industries Limited, Engr. Hamza A. Alrubay, proposed optimal solutions by exploiting the burning gas and converting it into oil products, which in turn will provide hard currency for the Iraqi Ministry of Oil and end environmental pollution.
